Default BATTERY RE LOCATION

HI guys
am about to put an intercooler in my engine bay on my CRX but have to re locate the battery in order to do this, am I right in saying the shorter the wires the better the charge to the battery or does this not matter?? Has anyone tried placing their battery in the boot or passenger footwell have any problems?? any help on this would be great.... or i could always put the intercooler in the boot but then thats one hell of a charge pipe for a low PSI turbo set up (4-5psi)

I am assuming you saw our write up on it?

its very easy, and makes running charge pipes alot easier, you dont "have" too reloacte it.

yeah thats great ... u really got this site sorted now jeff.
Do you have any ideas where i can pick up one of those battery boxes easily? I suppose I could use a couple of ice cream tubs maybe... but that would be ultra low budget...
does it cause any starting problems doing this battery relocation?
thanks

mine cost me 25$

ran the wire to the back. then i used the old mount big long screw things with hooks. i drilled a few holes and put the hooks in and bolted her down :P

i dont think its strip legal cause i dont have a battery box.

to pass a true "tech inspection" if the boxes are located in the drivers compartment (yes back of a crx is still drivers compartment) its suposed to be sealed and have a vent tube that goesoutside the car and have a on/off switch on the outside of the car. but then again most tech insecters see a honda take one look under the hood and say "next"
