I'm building a y8 block with a z6 head. If I were to guess I should get the ones for the head that I will be using. What are the difference anyway between d16a/z headstuds and y8 ones?

I dont personally know the difference between the two heads. But I would buy studs for the head you are going to use. I have used y8 head studs in a a6 and they worked, If I remember correctly one stud was a little longer than the rest on the y8. yet the threads were long enough to tighten the nut down on the a6 head
