Default my y8 build

Ive been gathering parts since the day I got the car in late september. I should have the y8 in and running in early/mid april, just gotta get a couple more pieces and have the rotating assembly balanced. then i can start the assembly and get her running and tuned for break in, then some pretty big boost..... hopefully

pictured: benson sleeved y8, eagle rods (arp 2000 bolts), cp 9:1's, y8 intake mani, y8 TB, RFL bov, walbro pump, p28 ecu, oil pan, vtec solenoid.
Not pictured is the acl main rod and thrust bearings, y8 head, micropolished and balanced y8 crank, arp headstuds, y7 tranny, 6 puck, oem flywheel, and PP.

and Going in this pile of ----

Anyone play around with a dry sump oil system? Im considering this to prevent starvation on the poor y8

Yesssssss. I can't wait. I LOVE the SOHC builds and for it to be a Y8. I have heard that the Y8 oil pumps are really great for the built motors. You can; however, use a Z6 if I'm not mistaken, but you lose the use of a dipstick I believe in the process. Keep us posted man. I love the Black on Black hatch. I'd rock that car for sure.
