Default auto to manual

sup guys. me and my buddy are stuck on our project car. its a 95 hatchback with b16a swap. we have run into problems with the harness. its supposed to just hook right up so says jspecautosports but there are a lot of wires that didnt, now from what i understand correct me if i'm wrong but the harness is already 80% correct and the other percent i'm assuming solder needs to be used or should we just buy a new harness. money isnt a factor so tell me whats going to be easier to get it running. if u need more info to help then ask and i'll tell u whats done and whats not. o and also what clutch cable should we use. thanks.
