Default How to convert "Auto" P28 ECU to "Manual" ?

Anybody know of a site that has pictures or at least instructions on how to change an "Auto" P28 ECU to a "Manual" P28 or vice versa? I remember seeing it a very long time ago. I think you only need to remove or add a few resistors or capacitors or something. Help if you can.

Below the PROM silkscreen you remove RP17 and RP18, then jumper RP18. Chip the ECU with a manual program.

Some of the tuner programs out there don't even need the RP17 and RP18 fiddled... but every so often you get a software/hardware quirk with a new program and it starts kicking code 19s for the auto tranny lockup, etc.
