Doing this for a friend who's making a ramhorn, he didnt have the equipment to do it so I took it to work.

Keep in mind I do this stuff on a "hey i have a 15 minute break scramble to do ----" sort of basis.

Basically used shitbirds write up to do it. If you haven't seen the thread, search ********.

The cuts weren't perfect, blades like to walk doing these kinda cuts, so I had a little gap. Tossed a square on the top to make welding easier and to fill the gap.

Should look great once it gets all tigged up.

the outsides look like they line up good. do you think you could use a hammer and punch or maybe just a hammer on the tips on the inside to push them in a bit to close up the gaps? looks good for 15 minutes.

 

Not bad man, what material you using there? Stainless Sched 10?

 

i think i probably have a coarse stone at work i could stick on a die grinder and just buzz them down. I aint too worried about it, I am calling it done as is.

im sure its schedule 10, but out of curiosity i measured it out at work. It translates to 1.75" x .095W
