Alright well with my new built engine im kinda stuck on what i should do for head studs. I know i need some but they dont sell them for 86-89 accords lmao... What route should i take?? Should i just tighten the stock headbolts down alittle more then spec or what the hell should i do I know there has to be another engine or something that has the same dimensions for headstuds as mine but i dont know.

 

fFigure out the exact dimesions of the stock Accord ones and email/phone tech at ARP and see if something will cross over.You will need to know the diameter,thread pitch and length.I imagine somehting will crossover.

stock but i know he talked about blowing a few headgaskets while it was running. I dont wanna be replacing them all the time like him lol.

 

PM accordepicenter he's got a 88 accord Lx-i that he put's about 14psi into his A20 motor and probably make's good into the 2xx hp and torque. Ask him what he would reccomend.

 

Fine the thread and pitch, and length, call ARP like everyone said. BTW I run 1.8L VW studs n my ZC.
