Anyone elses state have E85? It's starting to slowly move up my state and I'm sure it will be here soon. Anyone tell a difference in performance or wear? I was worried about it maybe eating through rubberized tubes.

 

e85 can only be used on FFV(flexable fuel vehicles) cars it isn't ment to be used in a regular car the alcohol eats the rubber in the fuel lines and also makes them swell and its more likely to blow up in a gastank with a intank fuel pump also corrodes lots of misc. metals heres a good like to check out http://running_on_alcohol.tripod.com/ but you can run E15 in any vehicle because its only 15% ethonal where E85 is 85%

 

E85 is pretty cool stuff. Some people have hit 1000hp using it.
