Default e85

has anyone turboed a car that can use e85. because i was at the gas station today and saw that it has like 103 octane for less than the crappy gas

you mean like 85 octane? im sure you could boost on it, just gotta be real careful with timing.

i don't see why you couldn't. the only thing i see being a problem would be all of the emissions bs on those flex fuel vehicles. i don't know why the ---- we don't have e85 everywhere... it's safer for the enviroment, higher octane than standard petroleum based fuels, 'grown' right here in america, etc., etc. just goes to show how big industries have the government by the ***** :P

it's mostly in the mid west right now. ever seen (mostly ford) vehicles with the little green tree looking badge on the front fender or tail gate? that means it's a flex fuel vehicle and can run e85 or regular gas.

I've run small amounts in my accord but thats na, and only ran a few gallons per tank the stuff destroys your fuel system I take it your in mn as well.
