Scrap copper is 2.24/lb right now. When i took some stuff in about 6 mos ago it was 1.45/lb. Steel is like what... 60 a ton?

 

I have a friend who takes leftover bits of copper wire home from the jobsite... takes a couple hours stripping the covering off it and makes ------- bank.

 

i wish i knew what stainless was worth i got a ---- ton of it when my resturant got remodled

 

stainless varies depending on the grade i think. I get scrap from work too. One time i got 165lb of copper and cashed that in... few hundred bucks worth

 

sweet, im gunna have to tell my boss we should cash in on our copper, we got like 3k pounds of it sitting outside our shop

last i seen aluminum its like .45 cents a pound and thats like a week ago

 

I know a buddy of mine knows a guy who just goes all over the place looking for aluminum, coper and ---- like that, and from what i hear he makes some good moneydoing that. That is hes primary source of income. This ---- realy makes me think. I was driving around few months ago and drove by some plase that installs new windown and i guess they take people's old widows after the job is done, because they had a big ole pile of aluminum window frames piled up behind their office building. I even thought i should take a trip over there an night with my pick up... LOL... naaw I ain't no theive, but i guess it would pay to keep your eye open for scrap ---- like that.
