we try to save every little piece of scrap copper in the jobs we do, weither its new constuction or a remodel. the price will go up and down kina like the stock market. i used to be a jeweler and id see gold do the same thing as well as platinum.

well copper is currently traded at about 2.23 per pound so.. if the scrap yard is offering 2.24 then hell.. I think I need the address to this place.. there is some money to be made.

me and my buddies take all our single cams with holes in them for scap aluminum. last time we took 4 blown motors and made 150 on them. it just sucks when you have to strip them bare

We'd pull up to the dumpster, start smashing the window frames apart. That way everything worthles you don't take, the dumpster is less full and needs emptied less, and you get beer money for next to no work. It was a win win situation.It was all good till some old guy started copying us and the owners got scared of the liability of letting people jump into a dumpster full of broken glass. We used to get like $250+ per trip. And that was only going half assed.
