Default Hydro vs cable clutch

Will a clutch for a d series Hydro tranny work in a d series cable tranny?

Will the throwout bearing work? I thought I read somewhere that the TO bearings are different.

So if I use a TO bearing for a cable clutch I can use the clutch from the hydro tranny?

why not?

As stated above, 90-00 clutches are the same.
