yes..im also having trouble with the idle

iv found this thread (got it here from HMT somewhere), but i do have some questions about it. http://www.g2ic.com/forums/showthrea...threadid=42969

to begin, i have a D16Z5 DOHC euro spec engine and here are my questions

1) In this thread they say..check your FITV...can't find it (picture shows it)...do u actually have one...if so..where ??. (there should also be 2 holes, one for the IAVC, other for the FITV...only have the first one.

2) Then, it says (i quote): Next cover both holes up with your fingers (the holes for the FITV and IACV). The car should sputter and die (or almost die). If it does then the source of your crappy idle is the IACV. Replace it.

I only have the IACV...it died almost instand...now should it die, or shouldn't it die (because it says...the car SHOULD sputter and die, if it DOES...the IACV is crappy.

3) Final...where the f^ck can i find the PCV valve. I should have one (i assume since it lets the bottem and "breath"), and it should be under the intake manifold near the oil filter (i read..at least for most honda's). I cannot find it...how does it look like (anyone pictures of the valve and maybe the place ?).
I might me looking over it since it really isn;t a easy place to search for something i don't know.

FITV is on your throttle body. on the back at the bottom. check the stickies in here. theres 1 about the idle. may be the saem one you posted, but it has pix in it so check it out.
