leaky turbo

Default leaky turbo

i have a problem i recently installed a turbo on my 2000 kia sephia and it is leaking oil. its leaking out of both the compressor and the turbo. could the type of oil im using be the problem or is it something else please let me know how to fix this problem. thanks

too much oil pressure, blown seals

can a seal befabricated or do i need to buy one

if the seals are blown you need a rebuild, but since its just been installed you may able to save it by cutting the oil pressure by installing a restrictor, or a needle valve witha gauge to monitor the pressure to about 25psi
