Default manufacturer control air fuel metering code?

I installed a vafc2 on a friend civic SI '02, so in the initial settings i placed sensor number 06 in 06 out, 4cyl thr pointing upward and vtec 1. is this initial settings ok?
The car started fine.. but after the initial run with fuel maps and everything i felt the car stronger with vtec at 5100/4900, but later the car dont rev more than 4k rpm, and chek light on.. the scanner show a manufacturer control air fuel metering code, if i erase the chek light and run the car revs to redline but after that the MIL come on and the same problem again.. any idea? please help me.
