Default Uberdata Woes............??????? HELP!!!

Well Ive been running my uberdata ecu for a month now and have had some weird lil probs hear and there. First off, none of the basemaps I make work Every BIN I make from scratch runs like ----! Sometimes the car wont turn onECU and other times the car clunks while fighting to say runnin it also starts to smoke like a ----- and only on my basemaps Ive tried using Uber 1.6 and .7. If I mod someone elses basemap, no probs, almost.... The car will start but will idle at 2100 for about 5mins then starts to stumble and rise between 1600 and 1900 till the engine has reached normal temps. After that the car runs SWEET, just RICH as HELL, I can smell it. My ricer air/fuel guage also reads at the very last green(rich) bar. Im also going through gas faster then when I was boosted w/ an AFC. I know its not accurate for ---- but this has gotta mean sumtin. Anyone got any ideas Im between turbo projects so havent gotten wideband tunned yet which should fix everything, hopefully.

Heres some more background info. Im tunning w/ Uber 1.6 and .7 & burning w/ BURN1, Y8, running 440s, PO6 converted->P28. Im thinking it may be a dizzy timming issue but havent gotten ahold of a light yet. Could this be it? If anyone needs more info just ask. Thanks for the help guys.

Unless your basemaps are proper fucked, which is hard to do, I'm guessing the problem is something mechanical or you've got a badly converted ECU.

I sure as hell hope its not the ECU. Kevin did all the work and Im pretty confident w/ his skills. But why are the maps I didnt make running and mine arent? That I really dont get Im gonna burn a stock P28 bin and run it on my friends Del Sol ASAP to be sure its not the ECU. Maybe this will give me a clear answer on the ECU being fukt idea.

If Kevin did it, it's probably not the ECU. Could be something fuel related, or it could be your burner. But the maps you don't burn sound like they only run a little bit better.

Burn the stock rom, see if it checks out.

I can rule out the burner being the prob, My first one was a williams and now im using a BURN1 and still the same results w/ both.

You need someone with a wideband so you can tune that thing. Sometimes basemaps are just plain ugly... I have had some serious idling/running issues with basemaps. Get it tuned...

and get a timing light on it.

if timing is way off...somebody else's tune map will still run poorly on your car.

What are the fuel modifiers set at? 440's are usually suggested to be set at 55 but, leave all them at 100 and see if that helps.

that'll wash some rings quickly.

make a new basemap, make sure when you change the fuel modifiers you actually check it to enable them. get a wide band on it. lean or richen as you need to to get around upper 14 to 15ish afr and idle around 700-900rpm...adjust the idle screw as nec. once you do that check your timing and adjust it to 16-17ish.

tune away.

are you running peak and hold or saturated injectors? hopefully, if you added peak and hold you added the resistors/resistorbox.

If he is using the new 1.7repack, the fuel modifiers actually work this go around and are always enabled, no more check box. On older versions, the only thing in the fuel modifiers that actually worked was TPS enrich from what they say on the Uberdata forum.

When I said for him to leave them at 100 I said that to see if the car would start and run, not to leave them on that setting permanently. If he can get the car to run, he can then mess with them slowly and notice the effects of the changes and adjust accordingly.
