Default Buying Charge Pipes.. What Do i need?

Car: 1991 crx si
Engine: D16Z6
Turbo : IHI
Manifold : STD With Adapter Plate
Intercooler : Tyrus Intercooler (smaller One)
Engine Management : AFC Hack 450cc

i checked out http://www.turbopiping.com and like the site.
What diameter should i go with? 2 inch? 2.25? 2.5?

Also How many u-bends do i need and straight pipes?
Anything else i need? i dont have a welder so im gonna have to use couplings to attach the pipes when i cut them to size.

i wish that i would have gone with 2" instead of 2 1/2" because i would have needed less reducers and the pipe couplers would have been cheaper because i would have been able to use those pvc hose couplers at home depot, $3 a piece.

aside from the coupler size, is 2" diameter restrictive to air flow, or does the d series not push air that fast?

I just went with 2 1/2 all the way and then used a reducer to connect the piping to the turbo. You should probably just get a 45 degree and 2-3 u bends and a straight section or 2. Dont know if your doing a fmic or not so I really couldnt tell you. Or you could just do like me and go non intercooled and work with water injection and only have to buy a cheap cold air intake for your car off ebay and cut those pipes up. Actually thats the cheapest way to go. The CIA pipes would go from the tbody to the fenderwell so you wont even have any guess work for that part.

Yup 2" is ideal for a small turbo.

acually the CIA pipes I got were 2.5. You can get a 3 inch if you want but for the turbo i went for the 2.5, cost me like 30 for the whole thing. Nice and bling blingy too.
