Could possibly try to compile a list for a sticky about manifolds and what each is designed for, and possibly who makes them? That would be badass and quite helpful.

 

most manifolds are custom made by someone who welds good, therefor you get no sticky

Tubular
Logs
Equal Length
Ram Horn(if its diff from EqL)
Top mount
Sidewinders

Have no differences? Even if they are custom made, they still have a basic design to go off of.

The only think I can contribute really atm is that...

Log and Tubular manis are usually cheap to aquire anywhere from $150-300ish and are good for fast spool on the low end. They suffer up top, but I am unsure why. Many people have seen major gains up top when replacing it with a different Style.

No, I asked if we could get a list going on mani types, why they're made, etc. I only could contribute a little to it.
