Default Oil Pans 92-95, 96-00 are they interchangeable????

So I have a D16Y8 and my oil pan has a hairline crack. (Bottomed out pretty hard last night). I have a buddy with a non vtec oil pan 92-95. So here are my questions for all you smart D guys:

Will it fit interchangeably with my oil pan :1

Should I just JB Weld it like the guys at the autoparts store suggested

Of course the douchebags at the local Honda dealership couldn't help they only go by part #'s and of course the #'s are going to be different.

96-00 pans use a larger radii on the oil pump, no way to interchange.

Raise your car to prevent crackerage

Only way to use an older pan is to use the older oil pump and pickup correct?

oil pumps are not interchangable, different bolt patterns for the oil pan.

Well the general concensus says that it won't fit. Thanks. Now about the JB Weld. Will it hold? And if it does, should I just use it as a temporary replacement until I get a new one?? Thanks again everyone.
