can i use the stock sensor in the spot on the HF manifold? i have D16Y8 by the way.

Also, i'm having trouble taking out the sensor that came with the HF manifold. Does anyone have any tips that would help...?

Yup, you can use the stock location, or plug it.

Get a 7/8ths wrench box end, spray some lube and tap it with a hammer.
