a T66 is going to lag for street.. I would assume you are going to do a duel bank feed manifold then?
400hp TT Stealths are pretty easy to make... starting for a NA standpoint maybe a bit trickier.

ALL wheel drive is the thing that gets me.. I mean all four wheels launching at once.. that's a good starting point knowing that traction is not one of your biggest problems.
I dunno know weather I would run twin tubo, or a mass turbo with both exhaust manifolds powering it.. One turbo seems easy, but knowing that a VR4 already has the parts you need... tough to say.

Yeah, wrecked 3000GT VR4's are probably living in the junkyards... you could talk the whole engine/turbos/ECU out from under a yard for an OK deal I'd bet.
I think you could do it a lot cheaper turboing what you have, but it's gonna take hard work, time, and a lot of thought.
As far as suitable turbos... try a Ford Powerstroke GTP38, good for 450hp, or a Dodge Cummins diesel HX35, good for 400+, as came fitted to the manual tranny trucks. BTW, if you run into the automatic tranny Cummin's turbo diesel HY35, be a good lad and drop me a PM or email... the 9 cm^2 HY35 exhaust housing is too tiny for your three liter.

few things to say about the vr4's and awd
they were made really shitty (quality of drive train) most ppl are on their second tranny and second transfer case....but when it does not break its awsome...also the trannys syncs are very weak and are prone to snap...the trannys for the NA are the same as the GST and i have seen GST trannys hold 400+ hp with a good clutch and flywheel...powerstroke turbo hmmmm...

Hey man.. you can either email me at Overblownms@msn.com or call me at 717-649-7412 after about 5pm.
a nice t3/t4e with about a 60 trim would be perfect for you.. One of them is $550 shipped from most online places. The power stroke will work but I think it might be pretty laggy. Most guys run them on 5.0L mustangs and they work out well. That extra two liters is going to hurt you alot.
How much boost do you plan to run? To basically double your hp you will need 15psi. Will your bottom end handle that much?
