Engine that hasnt been started for a year.
Is there going to be any problems with not starting the engine for a year. Is there anything i can do to make sure everything is lube up and ready to mess up. I'm just worried that i might spin a bearing with an engine that hasnt been running for one year because the crank might not be lube up with oil. Or is the engine is going to be fine?
you can un-plug the dizzy and crank it over a few times too let everything get lubed before you fire it up. as long as no water or anything got into the motor you will be fine.

I would drain the oil, throw some fresh stuff in there (the thick stuff) and disconnect the dizzy. Crank it over a few times til oil pressure builds up, then let her rip.

the proper way to prime an engine is to turn the oil pump with a power tool

2. Less thrusting forces due to no combustion, just spinning the rotating assembly.
3. every spun an assembeled HONDA engine w/ a power tool? :P
