Dissconnected Water temp sensor

Default Dissconnected Water temp sensor

Makes the ecu put out a code 6.. no CEL.. will it run on normal fuel maps or in limp mode.

I would say no, The ecu thinks the motor is cold, causing it to run cold start-up maps and have a lower ful cut.

Also...I think its fuxors with your Fan relays...fans wont turn on if they dont think the temperature is hot...watch out for that.

the temp sensor is located next to the thermostat is it?

i always ran mine disconnected and connected together to keep fan on constant.

under the dizzy back near the intak mani kinda... its a two wire plug

Depends on the motor. On 94+ LS motors its near the thermostat. On my 91 LS motor is was near the oil pressure sensor on the other side of the block.

DOhC ZC is by the the oil temp sensor.

The one below the Dizzy is a single wire one for you Guage in your dash
