Ok so I'm checking some of the little things wrong with the new car, 92 Integra LS. It's been running great, so I don't think much about it.

The tach, temp, and fuel gauges are not working. THe clock isn't either. I start checking the fuses and I see the one for the gauges is just gone... I'm thinking who would do that and why. I put a new sensor in and sure enough the gauges all start working, BUT

the oil light comes on, and the car starts beeping, kinda like when you have a door open, but it is a little faster, I think it is coming from the ECU area.

I have never seen this in any of my cars. Could it be low oil pressure, more than likely. What can cause this?

I neew help just got this car saturday. Car is completely stock, with 235k miles, yes a hell of a lot of miles, but florida miles are all on flat roads. Oil looks good, brand new.

This sucks, I can't drive this car, and my WRX is also fucked. I sold my civic yesterday. I'm going to have to drive a minivan.

I would check the oil pressure, just to make sure. As far as the beeping I have no idea. Try remoing the blue and white wires on the ignition.

 

Check grounds around the cluster and dash area. Ground problems make these cars do WEIRD things.

Also, get an oil psi guage NOW and double check pressure, then return it

Have you driven the car around alot? I would assume that it's getting oil psi since it's not grenaded right?

 

I test drove it saturday, and drove it to work yesterday because I got all the paper work for it, maybe a total of 40 miles.

The electric seat belts are not working, so I think that might explain the beeping.

I will get an oil pressure guage and check it, and will also return it , just to be sure.
