Default Flickering oil light WTF?

Ok so i was messing with the water/alky injection (which works really good) and i started noticing the car wasnt running as well as it should, then the oil light flickered for a few sec and the engine was stalling out at times (WTF?) so i pull over, check my oil (looked ok) and looked to see if the sensor was plugged in or wtf was going on... so is started the car up and same thing, at idle it was flickering... so i just drove it gently back home (2 blocks...) killed the engine down the street and rolled into the driveway... Engine sounded ok at idle but was a little noisy... dont think i spun anything but we will see i guess... any ideas as to what could have killed my oil pressure? Im thinking some kind of bearing failure or some crap in the pickup? Maybe a bad oil pump? Any ideas guys?

I get the flickering oil light around turns sometimes when my oil is low, thanks to a constant leak.

It's like driving a luxury car that tells you when it needs servicing.

Did you ever had this problem prior to using the water/alkaline injection? If no, maybe the water/alkaline got mixed with the oil and the oil sensor cannot get a good reading.

nahh this is the first time ive been using water and alky and the motor seemed to run good on it, but you can def tell somthing is wrong, itll flicker at idle, then give it a little gas and itll go out, but the engine keeps stalling and isnt running as fast as it should and sounds like its running out of oil... is def a pressure problem and not a sensor issue

The water/alkaline mixture could be mixing with the oil and diluting it causing a low oil pressure. Take a sample of the oil and smell it. You should get an indication if it's 100% oil or a mixture with alkaline. I hope this help you.

Mixture has nothing to do with it, the sensor dosnt give a ---- what its sensing, its plain and simple you have low oil pressure on idle, when you press the gas the oil pump moves faster and feeds more oil, therefore the pressure goes up, in other words your oil pump is going bad.

Mixture CAN affect the oil pressure. The same thing would happen if you have an injector that is stuck open and the gas mixes with the oil. The excess gas would dilute the oil causing a low oil pressure. This would one reason why the light would flicker.

Did you noticed he said he never had this problem before using the water/alkaline injection? So, if you want to blame the oil pump, so be it. I rest my case.

Pressure is pressure, doesn't matter what liquid you're using. Both water/gas/oil are uncompressable.

Cars with blown headgaskets don't throw oil pressure lights.

Youre an idiot, any liquid when pumped creates pressure, so back to my point, mixture has nothing to do with it, that oil pump is garbage, the end.

You calling me an idiot, Miss -----. You need to STFU and do some research before you come on here talking out of your ***. Prove to me that you know the ---- you are talking about. Show some quotes and then I'll show you some to prove my point. Anyway, I won't waste no more of my precious time on this issue.
