Default Moates Ostrich USB Eprom Emulator

ok was looking into going diy tuning and looked at XENOCRON'S baller website,
he has really really good prices on his packages, but i am curious on the emulator, this essentially eliminates the need for a chip, so if that is the case do i simply need to :

1. hook up laptop to datalog

2. examine datalog info

3. make adjustments on turboedit

4. upload adjustment to emulator

5. good to go?

is this correct?

or are there some steps that I am missing?

You will have two cables.

One for datalogging and one for the Ostrich. You will datalog with ECU Control and at the same time make changes on the fuel tables in TurboEdit. With the OStrich hooked up (and everything working properly) the changes you make in the fuel table will be instantaneously uploaded to the ECU.

ok that makes more sense, so the ecu will have more than one addtional port added

do have question about the wideband, what kind of o2 sensor does it come with, and does that include the monitor because your price is 30% cheaper than everyone else..

you can pm me if you dont feel like posting

Assuming you are using a stock 1.8bar sensor.

Unless it supports 2.5 and 3bar now?

All of the Innovate stuff uses the Bosch LSU4 sensor.

Monitor? Like a guage? Which one are you looking at?

I thought TurboEdit only worked on OBD-0 cars can I use it then to tune my OBD-1 setup?

I never said anything about OBD1...

But I imagine someday if we are lucky JParker will release an OBD1 version.
