will this werk in place of osterich?

Ya,

Also i used to try to look for the cheap way out, but I've learned to get what is reccommended and have ZERO problems.

Moate Burn1 and Ostrich for me!

i thought you use either burn1 or osterich, not both?

burn1 and ostrich are two diff. things. burner and emulator. you need a burner no matter what and ostrich is IDEAL!!!! for tuning.

i just thought if you already have osterich, why get a burner when you can leave the osterich in the car?

yeah but if your gonna tune somebody elses car then it would be good to have a burner. and again everybody doesn't have a burner so you can make some extra cash by burning chips for people

This basically sums it up. I run my car on my Ostrich, but pull it to tune cars for buddies. My batronix took a crap... so I use a burn1 now and love it. www.moates.net and craig put out great products for DIY people.

Yup, When you tune about 4-5 if not more peoples car, you can't leave an Ostrich in eveyone!! ---- would get expensive!
