Default Copper charge pipes?

Going to mount my fmic this weekend and don't have anyway of welding aluminum or steel but my dad has this thing that welds copper together. I plan on welding a couple of sections (just the bottom parts) I have aluminum off the throttle body. I will connect the copper pipes to the aluminum with silicone adapter. I plan on painting all the pipes once done. Would I encounter any problems doing this, I think not but just want to make sure.
Thanks

Sounds wierd, but go for it. I don't see why you would encounter any problems. What is the thing your Dad has to connect copper?

sounds good. As long as the joints are strong. I would imagine they would be considering they hold high water pressure.

So you're saying not just ricers will target his car for theft, but plumbers too? Man, it's a sad world we live in these days.
