Default Copper charge piping coupler ok for heat?

I had such a bitch hooking up my turbo charge piping, and the only solution I found that worked was a 90 degree 2 inch copper elbow at home depot. It is hooking right up to the turbo, so obviously its really close to the hot side, and I know copper is a very good heat conductor, but I have a huge CCA intercooler and I dont think it will be too much of a problem. Anyone think otherwise? If so, can I coat it in anything that will reduce its ability to conduct heat? I know the air coming out of the turbo is hot enough as it is, and this little elbow is no more then 4 inches in total length, it's then hooked up to my 2.5 steel charge pipe and the rest was easy.

I had to use 2 of those little 90 degree copper elbows on my first turbo project. Worked fine

You should wrap your intercooler piping with some heat wrap if it gets close to anything or those sections and they'll stop soaking any other heat up

granted everyone just said you'll be fine.. I'm thinking that there might be a mild flow restriction if you really started to crank out the CFMs with 2.5 elbow bend.. how many psi are you running?
