if your idle is bouncing def. sounds like a vac. leak. Make sure your intakes on right, TB and IM bolts are tight, replace all vac. hoses (there cheap as ----, might as well). Try cleaning your eacv or iacv aswell, to try to stop the idle from bouning.

Alot of times the hissing sound is caused by the idle screw. If you have it cranked out a ways, you'll hear it get louder. But, never hurts to check your vacuum lines too. As for the bouncing idle, how bad does it bounce around? If the air isn't bled out of the coolant it also makes it bounce around a bit. Also, if you have a z6 head, there is a little inlet under the throttle body that is held on by a couple of 8mm's...inside of that inlet is a screw of sorts. Tighten that screw and sometimes the idle problem goes away...something i picked up from a tech at a honda dealership.

yeah, the hissing sounds like a vac leak, and like the guys' above said, alot of times the idle issues are from IACV's and the "other" thing under the D-series TB's. best of wishes on it, bouncing idle is something I've had lots of trouble with..
