i'll be using an external wastegate on my new setup, do i just block off the internal wastegate via downpipe flange? and do i have to do any thing to the actuator? basically what do i have to do to use an external wastegate, i already have a mani. with wxternal flange

 

Get rid of the wastegate actuator on your turbo, and block off the hole with the downpipe flange, just like you said. That should work out just fine.
