Default Po6 with burnt board, help identify

I have a po6 with a burnt chip or something like that... i don't know what you call them at the location Q31. It seems to drive the car just fine but i would like to know if its anything that is of importance, because i'm thinking about doing a vtec conversion.

thanks...

can you post a pic? i don't feel like going into the garage to crack one open.

my first guess is a silicon transistor that tends to burst when poeple mic up sensor plugs under the hood.

yep, that transistor doesn't do squat as far as I am concerned. I think it has something to do with Evap.
