which has better oil pump?

Default which has better oil pump?

y8 or z6? I'm gonna do a mini me and wanna run a light weight crank pulley but have heard the ---- up the pumps so wonderin which pump would hold up better

z6....y series motors are notorious for having poor pump flow and spinning bearings at 100K

u cant use a y8 pump with a stock z6 oil pan

y series need the y series AL oilpan. Plus steel is more forgiving if you hit something will it and it'll just dent it unlike the AL where it'll just crack and goodbye oil and then engine and have fun walking. Z6 pump with any 95 and under sohc oilpan.
