got my skunk 2 coilovers in the mail today

couldnt afford tein's

should I slap these on my stock shocks or wait and buy someother shocks first

I only need to lower it about an inch and a half on the 16 inch slips

and what shocks would you suggest?

 

definately get new shocks, u'll blow the stocks in no time.

get some KYB AGX's and tell me how the ride is.. that's what i plan on getting (with skunk2 coils) before summer ends

 

either throw em in and then save up for some shocks,.... or just wait and get shocks,... stock ones will go out sooner or later.... i got skunk 2 coilovers with tokicos in my crx... nto bouncy at all but is stiff and hits bumps hard as hell

 

is that your car in your sig? Looks like its lowered already. You can use them with your stock struts. You'll blow your struts if you dump your car, but if you're only going down 1.5", then you're fine. Koni Yellows for struts would be a good choice though..

just ride them stock, its not like its hard to swap struts when they do blow.

i installed some "tokiko blues" on a buddys CRX, a while ago with the skunk2's and it was a pretty nice ride for the $$.
-it did need have serious alleignment problems though.
for what it was, with the alleignment problems, it was pretty nice.

Put them in and start saving your money. Once the struts blow then take however much money you have and get new ----. If they blow quickly get some KYB AGX's if they blow 2 years from now get some like $4,000 rally ----.
