Default Today was a productive day for me (SWAP PICS)

I was going to add these pics in to my finished car thread but then I thought of all the less fortunate HMT brothers that have dial up, so I made a new thread.

Offcourse the rest of the crew showed up to help, What would an engine swap be without 3 people doing it?

Body pannels off so paint wont get harmed.

2 of the hardest working people I know...Wait I'm one of them.

Here is that Tranny I'm selling, look how clean it is...Did I mention it has no 3rd gear crunch.

Finally dropped, wow its a pain in the *** to do this if you only have one jack.

The almighty D sitting, finally out of the way to make room for the new powerplant

The new powerplant B18A1, soon to be B18A1-T

Brand new clutch...Hope its good.

Finally in, this took up most of the day till it got dark, i'll have more pics tomorrow, We have the engine, tranny, and Intermediate shaft bolted up.

I have to Modify a few mounts to fit the EG chassis, whoever said you cant use stock EG/Teg mounts and they have to be from a 3rd gen teg is on some serious H-T crack, because you can, you can use the 2nd gen integra axles as well, but you need to keep the intermediate shaft, Also the VSS in the Teg tranny is a wire that goes to the dash, the EG has an electronic one, all you do is take the electronic VSS from the civic and put it on the teg tranny, not only does it fit, its the same frigin part, just with an electronic connectior.

EDIT: TURNS OUT YOU CAN ONLY USE 2 OUT OF THE 4 MOUNTS, DAMN IT.

The biggest issue people have is the Cable/Hydro tranny, well I thought up of something great today, instead of ------- around trying to get the wire running through my car in to the teg clutch pedal, all i'm gonna do is custom modify the clutch cylinder and make a custom bracket so it all fits together nicely.

all in all it was a great day, I will most likely have more pics tomorrow and hopefully have the engine in and running.

Yes. it should, the 2000 LS is OBD2 just like the civic, the whole VSS unit should be the same as well, 1 bolt holds it in place.make sure you put anty sieze between the tranny and the VSS unit just incase someone down the road wants to take it out and the aluminums oxadize together, I broke one today, thank god it wasnt the one I needed.

Here is what it looks like inside.
