NEED COMPUTER HELP! figured it....now with vid

So i bought a fire wire and the hardware for it to go IN my computer so i can transfer video onto my computer. Only problem is, is that i can't get it to work

ANy help guys!?!?

i didn't have the harware or whatever jammed in far enough...works now though
