Then he braced the turbo. Look closely - that brace is spelled M - A - N, it was not some ****** ----- ----. 1"X2" RHS tube.





You know what the SSACrap did? Formed a big fat quarter sized hole in the top center of the collector where all four runners are welded into that stamped steel pile of goatwang called a collector.

FYI - This setup made 340 whp corrected off 12 psi, had one or two 22 psi hell runs getting the boost controller dialled in.

 

MMM, now isn't that easier. Plus most of us have seen these before, especially the glues turbo

 

You know, if someone gave me that SSACrap/XS power turbo for free, I'd glue the compressor housing back together and run a tiny c-clamp or two on it. It would most likely fall apart in a thousand miles, but a free turbo is a free turbo.
