i did some reachard but i wanna be sure, what do i need to make this work, i have read the ls rod swap info, but what do i need to make them work on vitra pistons, this is going in a d16z6, what whould my compreson look like with those pistons and what type of rings should i use, im building this engine while my other one is boostin

Once you get your rods bushed and machined, they will need a floating wrist pin which the vitara pistons have.
The piston rings are included if you get them from the guy on h-t.

The compression will be lower. Do a search on ht for the main thread there.

 

I'll have a set of LS rods bushed with vitara pistons for sale soon...not floating as I didnt have the proper reamer so I did a press fit. vitara pistonsin a honda are loud as ----.

What? you cant deal with a bit of slapping noise? The swap is worth every penny if done right, and If I didnt spin a bearing in my Z6 I would of been turboed on this setup pushing 12 psi and not having to worry.
