im doing my timing belt on a d16z6, got the belt, water pump and water pump gasket, looking for a site that sells the cam seal, i figure that once i have everything apart, might as well replace that too, anyone know where i can grab one, napa and advanced dont seem to carry it, as they have no clue about the difference in motors, thanks

 

should have it at napa
make sure you have a 17mm 6 pt deep impact socket before you start
good time to adjust the valves too

 

dealer has them for about 4 bucks

 

no dealer near me, lol, im in the boonies, thanks guys, adjusting my valves has now be added to the list, kinda hoping i ---- up so i can have a reason to swap im sure ill get one soon enough

i know im gonna do it, im just kinda lazy, motor has 180k on it, i just dont feel like taking the ---- apart and then it blowing in 20k

http://www.majestichonda.com I wouldnt use anything but honda seals in the rear main, front main, cam seal, and harmonic balancer seals (if you have them) ive seen guys put aftermarket ones in new and had them leak.

 

<--- one of those dipshits who went with an aftermarket rear main seal. 3 days later had to rip the tranny AGAIN to put in a Honda seal
