Default how many miles are pressure plates good for?

i'm about to rip my motor apart and want to throw in a beefier clutch. i've got an act xtreme pp with about 25k on it. do they wear a lot or is it just the actual disc that wears? just wondering b/c i'd rather definitely pick up just a new disc as opposed to a whole clutch kit.

i don't have it out yet, i'll be pulling it out this weekend. i just went ahead and ordered a whole new clutch and flywheel from mike, but i'll post some pics when i get it out anyways, to see if it's even worth holding on to for future use possibly. it only has roughly 20k miles on it, with not 'too' much abuse, so it should still have some life.
