Check it out. I thought this looked damn attractive. That, and I'm almost done with mine :-)

What if started building them. Would any of you people buy them? Probably like materials +$30-$40?

I've had an unbuilt TechEdge unit gathering dust for a few months now. Looking for a good soldering iron to put that bitch to use.
You cant beat the $150ish (forgot) parts kit price. (including display unit)

Sure TechEdge ripped the DIY WB, but still not a bad price for a more polished (beginner friendly) unit.

How is it polished or more friendly than the DIY-WB? The 1.0 boards are the exact same thing with a ittle cosmetic shuffling of parts position... I got my DIY-WB PCBs for $4.38/per and parts run $25 from Digikey.

I use a DVOM to read my mixture, but if you wanted you could drop $50 on the Techedge display which is 100% compatible with the DIY-WB output since it's the same hardware platform. Even buying their display, you are way ahead of the full Techedge kit.

Some people aren't comfortable with soldering, but it really is easy. I recommend you test your desoldering and soldering skills on some old broken electronics sometime, it doesn't take much to get up to speed.
