not to get technical, but doesn't that violate the terms of usage posted on the front page of the DIY-WB site?

T3: that $80 bosch 5 wire sensor won't work with the DIY kits. it's the LSU4 version (i'm assuming you're talking about ATPturbo.com's prices)

the DIY guys were out of PCB's when i emailed them. i was waiting on that, but now since the sources of the necessary sensors have all but dried up and techedge is supposedly releasing a version that will work with the LSU4 sensor, maybe it's worth waiting for. i just hope they post the schematics for it so i don't have to buy their kit...

I know what the site says, and I'm not trying to pass this off as my idea or make any kind of profit. I don't, however, see anything wrong with trying to get some form of compensation for sitting cramped over a PCB for 2 hours putting it together. If people want to attempt to solder it themselves, then I'll be happy to tell them how. However, if you had no idea how to solder and you just dropped $200 on a bag full of IC's, I'm sure you wouldn't want to jump in with soldering iron blazing. Sorry if I sound like a dick, but that's just my opinion.

no problem, i understand.. just didn't want you to get into any trouble with licensing agreements or anything.. some people are pickier than others about their intellectual property..

I don't think $30-40 over cost is exceeding a reasonable profit for your time. BUT. It is in direct violation of the DIY-WB agreement.

I'd rather sales of assembled DIY-WB boards wasn't discussed on this forum, just to keep everything clean and sanitary and friendly with other places on the web. Namely, DIY-EFI and DIY-WB. PM and email works great, hint hint.
