my ---- is running great (turboedit) nice 14-15:1 afr's in vacum, and 11.5-12:1 afr's in boost, no problems, except when im bouncing off the launch control limiter (set at 5k rpm) the wb just goes lean and after a second i start to hear detonation, and at 5k rpm vtec is already enguaged, and im building like 1-2 psi of boost, so you would think it would react like part throttle tip in, which aint bad rangeing from 12-13:1 ....wtf? is it bad to be lean like that when launching?

 

you sure its detonation?

you wideband might be just too slow, but the injectors are cutting off, which would show up lean on your wideband...just maybe not at the EXACT second its happening...

lol, i think everyone wishe's there was an ign. cut launch control. yeah, of course it shows up lean while you're bouncing off the limiter, it's a FUEL cut, that's perfectly normal
