ok my brother just came back out of breath he said his comanche just died on him and will not start this thing has been nothing but problems since we got it so this is nothing new, i looked under the hood and see LOTS of black sludge on the crankcase/spark plug area,i checked the distib rotor it was ok so i tryed crankin it for about 9 sec let go of the key and the motor made a funny noise like somthing is still spinning around then clank clank clank like theres marlbles hitting somthing what do you think is going on?? btw is a 86 jeep 4.0L inline six

 

How can you expect someone to know what clang clang clang is? Does it have spark, fuel presure, injector pulse......... help us out here.
