fuel pump
fuel filter
fuel rail

could be anyting doing with any part of your fuel system, not trying to be a smart ***, but seriously, people get that code for all of the above reasons. more than likely your pump/filter/or injectors are taking a ---- on you.

some1 correct me if i am wrong. But the ECU would throw that code based on a lean o2 reading right? if the ecu has to constantly compensate for a lean condition it'll throw code 43?

i`ve had the same code and it only comes up when ever i floor it at about 4500 rpm.
, i changed the filter/new 255 pump, used fuel system cleaner an nothing helps, it turns out a universal O2 from rice boy fixed it.
everyone over HT is like change this and change that before touching O2 sensor, but figure once you had it doen it will last another 10K miles or so, i`d do the O2 first.
