Whats more important than the afformentioned stuff is why the code gets thrown. The reason the code occurs is if the ecu has to make a greater correction that a certain amount to reasch stoich. So if you fuel pump isn't flowing enough and the ecu has to make massive changes to the stock settings to get you to stoich then it can throw this code. My car was throwing it once becuase of a bad o2 sensor.

that code also get thrown with a fucked main relay
but then u wouldnt be able to start ur car

Get it tuned and disable the O2 sensor...code gone.

I've hardly ever personally seen a code 43 be anything other than O2 related...

i have had this code as well. i'm thinking it has something to do with the fact that i don't have the oem fuel pump anymore. i'm running an msd pump off seperate wiring and a switch. i'm thinking of hooking it up to the oem wiring though and maybe that will get rid of the code. i didn't get it until a while after i switched the pump... i'm thinking it is my o2 though because i am also getting #1 code as well.
