Would it be better for it to dump straight to the atmospher or have it dump into the Downpipe? Not a need to know just wanna know. Thanks guys.

 

Depends on who you ask. The open pipe doesn't rob power. I like the integrated type though

 

just depends on if you care if the car gets a little louder when the WG opens. personally it was easier to not integrate it, and the sound is purdy.

If you don't mind the noise, do an open dump...

My wastegate vents into the atmosphere and I kinda like it... my car is quiet until I really get on it, then BAM! the wastegate opens up and she starts screaming...(you don't get that sound with a closed system)

It does kinda stink though. But my car stinks anyways due to my lack of PCV valve and venting my crankcase pressure into the atmosphere, oh, and I don't have a cat either... so what's a little more fumes when you are already sitting in them at every red light?
