Default Turbo Noma (s10) - Will this turbo work?

Alright well i bougth a 1991 4 cylinder gmc sonoma at a state auction recently for $700 and it only has 106,000 miles on it. The truck also suprisingly must have like LSD because it spins both tires for a couple feet and then it goes to oneThe body is straight, it was badly painted a nice color blue that i will be correcting soon. Anyway, I believe i can build a good set up for under $500. It's a 2.5L 4 cylinder with TBI. What would be a good idea to upgrade the fuel system for the turbo? My main question though was does anyone know if this turbo i have aquired is too big or too small? It was bought by my uncle at an auction for the whopping price of $1. It came off of a John Deere tractor and it says "AiResearch" on it and it has "m 11" stamped on the turbo. The turbo looks to be in good condition and best of all is that it is free. Anyway i put a link to pictures of the turbo, the engine, and my truck below. Any advice or comments is appreciated. Thanks.

That is a pretty big turbo. You could probably use it but you will have boost lag like a mother ******. Clean it up and sell it on ebay. Take that money and get a smaller T3. Looks like alot of work but it is definitely doable. Go for it.

I would go for a super 60 t3. Maybe a little smaller. To bad you can't get uberdate on that bitch.

Put it on there anyway. It was free/cheap so who cares...I'm assuming you don't really care if the truck blows up or not though....if you do, you might look for a smaller turbo.

Nah man i got it for $700. Bad *** ------ deal if you ask me. I'm still not sure if i want to sell it soon and make a big prophit off of it as it is and then maybe get an bigger beater pickup with more power and then build a crx/civic hatch for a daily or if i want to keep it and turbo the 4 cylinder til its junk, then swap a 4.3 v6 and turbo that the correctly with more money into it. It all depends. But for now my plan is just a simplish turbo set up for the 4 cylinder, as long as it don't cost me more than 500.

700 is a pretty good deal. i think you would have a hard time making money off of it when its turbo'd...not too many people are looking for 4cyclinder turbo pickups.....put in the 4.3 vortec motor and turbo that ----.
