Oil T location?

Default Oil T location?

do i have to remotely realocate my T off the block? who has done this and for those who didn't do it have you ran into problems like cracking the block or know somebody that ran into problems?

wrong section but if you're using the tunertoys fitting I wouldn't worry about it cracking

No, you don't have to remotely mount the T, but I did. I just installed a fitting in the block, then ran a stainless line from the fitting in the block to the tunertoys T which I ziptied near the firewall. From the tunertoys T fitting I used the 3 ports for my autometer oil pressure gauge, turbo oil supply, and stock sender. That is what I prefered to do, but do as you wish.

here is where you mount it. -right above the oil filter.


this is the way it should look when completed.


there is also another port in the fitting to run a gauge or whatever you want out of that also. you can get the oil line kit from www.tunertoys.com or the stickey in the clasifides section of hmt. it has everything needed.

i'm running a Homemade T though, so i was wondering if i can still put that on, it fits and all but its quite heavy

i did the same thing, but i used local hardware store "T"s

we're ghetto like that

You should get the correct thread for the block. Its easy to find. Its BSPT. British Standard Pipe Tapered. Get it at www.mcmaster.com
