Default ghetto catch can?

I'd like the have a catch can for my turbo set up, but I really do not want to pay for it (seems like a huge rip off). Is there any way of making one for really cheap (i.e. PVC piping, coffee cans, ect)? If any of you have a cheap and good crank ventilation solution I'd love to hear it (and see pics of it too if that is possible)
thanks for the help

If you'd search you find a decind wrtie up from a memeber with pictures. And yes you can use pvc. Or the nicer version, an air compressor filter. I'd love to link you to the thread but i don't have time.

I can't seem to find it if i search either. What i'm using right now is just 2.5 inch pvc with caps on end..steel wool. and home depot 1/4inch barbs jb welded 1 inch from the top about 1 inch apart. However, I'm going to use an air filter from a compressor and thread bars into the holes. Look on H-T for the compressor filter setup.

oh wow, didn't think it'd be there...
thanks

I guess never mind then. I'll probably just figure something out when the time comes, it looks pretty cheap and easy to do. I mostly just wanted to make sure it could be done. The last car part I tried to make out of PVC miserably failed (a cooling line...)

I don't understand his drawings. I know that you hook it up to the valve cover breather, then to the catch can then back to the intake of the turbo.. why not just vent it to atmosphere?

the catcht can itself isn't connect to the valve cover..the catch can is routed from the crank case breather to pre turbo charge piping so that you aren't creating positive pressure in your crank. same with the valve cover..you don't want bost in either area. and if you vent to the atmosphere you can suck stuff into your crank/valves

Ahh.. so why in the drawings does it hook up to the PCV valve? the pcv valve on my b18b comes right off the valve cover.
